Biographical
Allison commenced her arbitration/mediation practice in June of 2020. She has over 30 years’ experience in labour and employment law. In that time she:
- represented unions as legal counsel in arbitrations, proceedings at the Labour Relations Board of BC and in the BC courts for fifteen years;
- adjudicated and conducted mediations as Vice-Chair at the BC Labour Relations Board for ten years, and served on the executive as Registrar and then Associate Chair, Adjudication for four years; and
- at the University of British Columbia, led the university bargaining team in collective bargaining with the faculty association and managed a team of lawyers and human resource personnel responsible for employment issues related to unionized and non-unionized faculty members
