1980: Legal assistant to the Chair of the Labour Relations Board; 1982: Returned to private practice, restricted to labour and employment law; 1992 to 1996: Adjunct professor of law at the University of British Columbia law school; 1995 to 1999: Adjudicator on the Employment Standards Tribunal; 1995 to date: McConchie & Company, arbitrator, mediator, complaints investigator and seminar presenter in the public and private sectors.
